About Bing Webmaster Tools

Bing Webmaster Tools is Microsoft's free service for site owners who want to monitor and improve how their site appears in Bing. Search Performance shows impressions, clicks and queries, URL Inspection checks the index status of a page, and Site Scan runs an on-demand technical audit. Backlinks and Keyword Research reports are included, along with sitemap submission and IndexNow for notifying search engines when URLs change. Microsoft made Copilot in Bing Webmaster Tools available to all users in March 2025 and opened a public preview of an AI Performance report in February 2026. A site can be added by importing a verified Google Search Console property.

🏆 Pros & Cons 4.3/5

Bing Webmaster Tools is the only first-party source of Bing search data, and it includes backlink and keyword reports that Google Search Console does not. Every site owner should set it up alongside Search Console. Its data covers Bing and Microsoft search only.
